AB INBEV & 5DESIRE'S 100+ LABS IN VIETNAM

100+ labs with 5desire

AB InBev collaborating with 5Desire are launching the 100+ Labs in Vietnam, the first of its kind program by any corporate in the country. The program is being launched to drive the local start-up ecosystem and enable global exposure to Vietnamese start-ups. The program will enable mentorship, training opportunities, paid pilot opportunities worth USD $15k in Vietnam, and a golden ticket to the global AB InBev 100+ Accelerator program which offers funding to start-ups up to USD $100k. The 100+ Accelerator has supported 70 companies in over 20 countries to solve supply chain challenges with the most pressing sustainability challenges globally.

The 100+ Labs in Vietnam will enable partnerships with scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs, and AB InBev to identify and scale out-of-the-box solutions as it works towards creating a sustainable and inclusive future. The challenge statements will be in line with the company’s 2025 Sustainability Goals, around Water, Circular Economy, Climate, Agriculture, Inclusive Growth and Biodiversity. The challenge is open to all start-ups from all stages.

Selected start-ups will receive funding up to USD $15K to implement a pilot project with AB InBev to validate product-market fit, a golden ticket to the global 100+ Accelerator, followed by a structured curriculum focused on integrating with a large corporate partner and best practices for scaling. The startups will also receive active mentorship, training and programming in product development, go-to-market, operations, sales and more.

Multiple startups including Kisan Hub, Erthos, and Craste have successfully implemented pilots in India since the inaugural edition of the accelerator program, and the company aims to replicate the success in Vietnam.

Applications to the 100+ Labs will open from 1st September and close on 7th October. Once the applications are filed, following an initial screening process, the selection team will carefully review each application and announce the shortlisted companies.
